Tide crosslinking of fabric

Moisture crosslinking is a finishing process in which the cellulose fiber is partially expanded (that is, when the fabric contains a certain amount of water), and the non-iron finishing agent and cellulose have a crosslinking reaction at low temperature. Moisture cross-linking process can give cotton fabrics better wet wrinkle resistance and medium dry wrinkle resistance, and its non-iron grade is higher; at the same time, it has less abrasion resistance and strong damage after finishing. In recent years, it has been used in thin high-end shirt fabrics. The application of products has been favored by colleagues in the industry. But tide crosslinking has the disadvantages of long process flow, low production efficiency (intermittent type), and difficult process control. Mild (or low temperature) baking process of fabric

The gentle baking process was first used as an improved process of the pre-baked durable press (PP) finishing process. The purpose is to improve the cross-linking of the fibers in the dry state during the high-temperature baking of the traditional process to improve the cross-linking. The main principle of linking distribution and improving wet wrinkle resistance is to use a stronger catalyst, so that the crosslinking can be completed at a lower temperature (generally 100-120℃, no more than 130℃). At present, this process has been successfully used in the production of high-end thin cotton non-iron shirt fabrics and bed textiles, and some people believe that the gentle baking process may be the most powerful candidate to replace the tide cross-linking process. The well-known BASF company has also applied for a patent for "Advanced Performanes Finishing" (AP adhesive process for short). The process flow and equipment used in the gentle baking process are exactly the same as the conventional traditional rolling baking process, but the process technical parameters are different.

It is said that it is a way to achieve the tidal cross-linking finishing effect by dry cross-linking, and its advantages are as follows:

(1) The process is simple, the operation is convenient, and the control is easy;

(2) Good dry/wet wrinkle refolding and washable W&W performance;

(4) Less powerful damage;

(5) The release of formaldehyde from fabrics meets environmental protection requirements (<75ppm);

(6) Fabric yellowing is lower than traditional dry crosslinking;

(7) It seems that it has no obvious effect on all dyes and fluorescent whitening agents.

Roll baking

After decades of continuous improvement, the problems of yellowing and chlorine loss have been solved, and it is no longer a problem that the amount of nail drunk released meets the requirements of environmental protection standards. Only in order to obtain a certain degree of non-ironing performance, a certain degree of strength and wear resistance must be paid, and there is no proper compensation method. Although under normal circumstances, most of the strong damage caused by cross-linking is temporary, while a small part may be permanent damage caused by high temperature and acid.

The results of the try-on show that the wrinkle resistance of the non-iron finishing cotton fabric will gradually decrease during the taking and washing process, but at the same time the strength will gradually increase: after several washings, it may even exceed the unfinished product that has been worn the same. Cotton fabric. It is an indisputable fact that the normal non-iron finishing cotton fabric will not affect the actual wearing performance. However, reducing the strong damage of non-iron finishing and improving abrasion resistance is still the goal of the unremitting efforts of chemical finishing technicians.

Since the invention of anti-wrinkle finishing, it has been accompanied by the development of cross-linking agents, and the researchers of textile chemical finishing have always been looking for more suitable cross-linking agents and establishing the optimal processing conditions for them and cellulose fibers. , In order to obtain better anti-wrinkle performance; at the same time, we spare no effort to use softeners, lubricants, elastomers, etc. of fine chemical products as additives for anti-wrinkle finishing to enhance the finishing effect and remove some undesirable side effects, such as rough and strong hand feeling. And the disadvantages of wear resistance, etc., continue to improve the physical level of anti-wrinkle finishing fabrics.
