"Polyester cotton" and "Cotton polyester"

It's the most common one we hear, but the order of the two words turns into two different fabrics.

1. "Polyester cotton" (TC) fabric refers to the composition of polyester is more than 50%, cotton is less than 50%;

Advantage: burnish is brighter than pure cotton cloth, feel is smooth, crisp, not easy to wrinkle, and the composition of polyester is taller fabric is not easy to wrinkle.

Disadvantages: close to the skin as cotton, wearing no cotton fabrics comfortable.

2. "Cotton polyester" (CVC) is just the opposite, refers to the composition of cotton in more than 50%, polyester in less than 50%;

Advantages: gloss slightly brighter than pure cotton cloth, cloth level off, clean without yarn or impurities. Feel smooth, crisp, crease resistant than cotton.

Weakness: close skin sex is inferior to comprehensive, wear does not have comprehensive fabric comfortable.

Generally, the amount of TC is greater than that of CVC, and the price of TC varieties will be a little lower.

The advantages of polyester fabric

The shortcomings of polyester fabric

(1) Poor hygroscopicity, the hygroscopicity of polyester fabric is poor, so the polyester clothing will have hot feeling, simple with static electricity, dust infection, affect beautiful and comfortable, but after cleaning, it is very simple and boring, and the wet strength almost does not drop, no deformation, has excellent wearable function.

(2) Poor dyeing, because there is no specific dyeing gene on the polyester molecular chain, and the polarity is small, so the dyeing is more difficult, poor dyeing, dye molecules are not easy to enter the fiber, but the color fastness after dyeing is excellent, not simple fading.

(3) Easy to pilling, polyester fabric is one of the artificial synthetic fiber goods, but there is a pilling scene in all artificial synthetic fiber cloth, so polyester fabric goods will have a pilling scene after a period of use.

The difference between cotton fabric and polyester cotton fabric

(1) The advantage of pure cotton fabric is to wear soft and comfortable, ventilation and moisture permeability is very good, the disadvantage is relatively easy to deformation (shrinkage) and fade, and the price is high;

(2)The strength of polyester cotton fabric is very high, 20 times that of viscose fiber, wear resistance and elasticity are also very good, durable products, long service life, easy to wash and dry;

Therefore, in view of the above characteristics of the fabric, the two raw materials are blended to greatly improve the advantages of the fabric and reduce the disadvantages; Good elasticity and wear resistance under dry and wet conditions, stable size, small shrinkage, with tall and straight, not easy to wrinkle, easy to wash, fast drying characteristics; And it reduces costs.
