Fabric appearance quality inspection standard-American standard four-point system

The common inspection method for cloth is the "four-point scoring method". In this "four-point system", the highest score for any single defect is four points. No matter how many defects the cloth has, the defect scores for each linear yard shall not exceed four points.

Scoring standards for textile fabric quality inspection

1. For defects in latitude, longitude and other directions, the defect scores will be evaluated according to the following standards:china medical fabrics textiles-DADITEXTILE

One point: the defect length is 3 inches or less than 3 inches

Two points: the length of the defect is greater than 3 inches and less than 6 inches

Three points: the length of the defect is greater than 6 inches and less than 9 inches

Four points: the length of the defect is greater than 9 inches

2. The scoring principle of defects:

A. Deductions for all warp and weft defects in the same code shall not exceed 4 points.

B. For serious defects, each yard of defects will be rated as four points. For example: Regardless of the diameter, all holes and holes will be rated as four points.

C. For fabrics with continuous occurrences, such as crossbars, edge-to-edge chromatic aberration, narrow seal or irregular cloth width, creases, uneven dyeing, etc., each yard of defects should be rated as four points.

D. No points will be deducted within 1" of the selvedge

E. Regardless of the warp or latitude, no matter what the defect is, the principle is to be visible, and the correct deduction will be given based on the defect.

F. Except for special regulations (such as coating tape), usually only the front side of the grey cloth is inspected.

Quality inspection of textile fabrics

1. Sampling procedure:

1) AATCC inspection and sampling standards:

A. Sampling number: the square root of the total code number is multiplied by eight.

B. Number of random inspection boxes: the square root of the total number of boxes.

2) Sampling requirements:

The selection of the papers to be inspected is completely random.

The textile factory needs to show the packing list to the inspector when at least 80% of the rolls in a batch of cloth have been packed. The inspector will select the inspected paper.

Once the inspector selects the paper to be inspected, he shall not make any adjustments to the number of papers to be inspected or the number of papers that have been selected for inspection. During the inspection, in addition to recording and checking the color, no cloth of any size shall be intercepted from any roll.

All the rolls of cloth under inspection are graded and the defect scores are assessed.

2. Test score

1) Calculation of score

In principle, after each roll of cloth has been inspected, the scores obtained can be added up. Then the grade is assessed according to the acceptance level, but because different cloth seals must have different acceptance levels, if the following formula is used to calculate the score per 100 square yards for each roll of cloth, it only needs to be set at 100 square yards The specified scores below can be used to make a grade evaluation of different cloth covers.

A = (total score x 3600) / (number of inspected yards x width of cloth that can be cut) = score per 100 square yards

2) Acceptance level of different cloth types

A single roll of cloth that exceeds the specified score shall be classified as a second-class product.

If the average score of the entire batch of cloth exceeds the specified score level, the batch of cloth shall be deemed to have failed the inspection.

3. Inspection score: other considerations for evaluating the grade of cloth

Repeated defects:

1) Any repetitive or continuous defect will constitute a repeat defect. Four points must be awarded for repeated defects in each yard of cloth.

2) Regardless of the defect score, any roll with more than ten yards of cloth containing repeated defects should be deemed unqualified.

Full width defect:

3) Rolls with more than four full-width defects per 100y2 shall not be rated as first-class products.

4) On average, a roll containing more than one major defect in every 10 linear codes will be regarded as unqualified, no matter how many defects are contained in 100y.

5) Rolls with a major defect within 3 years of the cloth head or cloth tail shall be assessed as unqualified. Major defects will be regarded as three-point or four-point defects.

6) If the cloth has obvious loose threads or tight threads on a selvedge, or there are ripples, wrinkles, creases or creases on the main body of the cloth, these conditions will cause the cloth to be uneven when the cloth is unfolded in the usual way. None of the volumes can be rated as first-class. To

Fabric width:

7) When inspecting a roll of cloth, check its width at least three times at the beginning, middle, and end. If the width of a roll of cloth is close to the specified minimum width or the width of the cloth is uneven, the number of inspections of the roll width should be increased.

8) If the roll width is less than the specified minimum purchase width, the roll will be deemed unqualified.

9) For woven fabrics, if the width is 1 inch wider than the specified purchase width, the roll will be deemed unqualified. But for elastic woven fabrics, even if they are 2 inches wider than the specified width, they can be considered qualified. For knitted fabrics, if the width is 2 inches wider than the specified purchase width, the roll will be deemed unqualified. But for stretch knitted fabrics, even if they are 3 inches wider than the specified width, they can be considered qualified.

10) The overall width of the cloth refers to the distance from the outer selvedge at one end to the outer selvedge at the other end.

The tailorable cloth width refers to the width measured by removing the cloth selvedge and/or styling machine pinholes, the undyed, uncoated or other untreated surface parts on the cloth body.

Color difference evaluation:

11) The color difference between roll and roll, batch and batch shall not be lower than the four levels in the AATCC gray scale table.

12) In the process of fabric inspection, take 6-10 inch wide color difference fabric panels from each roll, and the inspector will use these fabrics to compare the color difference in the same roll or the color difference between different rolls.

13) The color difference between edge-to-edge, edge-to-center or cloth head to cloth tail in the same roll shall not be lower than the four levels in the AATCC gray scale table. For the inspected rolls, each yard of cloth with such color difference defects will be rated as four points.

14) If the inspected fabric does not match the approved sample provided in advance, the color difference must be lower than the 4-5 level in the gray scale, otherwise the batch of goods will be regarded as unqualified.

Roll length:

15) If the actual length of a single roll deviates by more than 2% from the length indicated on the label, the roll will be deemed unqualified. For rolls with roll length deviations, their defect scores will no longer be assessed, but they must be noted on the inspection report.

16) If the sum of the lengths of all random samples differs from the length indicated on the label by 1% or more, the entire batch of goods will be deemed unqualified.

Joining part:

17) For woven fabrics, the entire roll of fabric can be made up of multiple parts connected, unless otherwise specified in the purchase contract, if a roll of fabric contains a joint part less than 40y in length, the roll will be determined Is unqualified.

For knitted fabrics, the entire roll of fabric can be made up of multiple parts connected, unless otherwise specified in the purchase contract, if a roll of fabric contains a joint part weighing less than 30 pounds, the roll will be deemed unqualified .

Bow and weft:

18) For woven and knitted fabrics, all printed fabrics or striped fabrics with more than 2% bow weft and oblique folding; and all rolls of wick fabrics with more than 3% skew cannot be classified as first-class products.

Skew:

19) For woven fabrics, all printed fabrics and striped fabrics with a skew greater than 2%, and all rolls of wick fabrics with a skew greater than 3% cannot be classified as first-class products.

For knitted fabrics, all wick fabrics and printed fabrics with a skew greater than 5% cannot be classified as first-class products.

Smell of cloth:

21) All rolls that emit a bad smell cannot pass the inspection.

Hole:

22) Through the defects that cause cloth damage, regardless of the size of the damage, it should be rated as 4 points. A hole should include two or more broken yarns.

Feel:

23) Check the feel of the cloth by comparing it with the reference sample. If there is a significant difference, the roll of cloth will be classified as a second-class product, with 4 points per yard. If the feel of all the rolls does not reach the level of the reference sample, the inspection will be suspended and the score will not be assessed temporarily.

Density:

24) In the full inspection, check at least two places and allow ±5%, otherwise it will be regarded as unqualified (although it is not applicable to the 4-point standard, it needs to be recorded).

Weight:

25) During the full inspection, check at least two places (with temperature and humidity requirements), and allow ±5%, otherwise it will be rated as unqualified product (although it is not applicable to the four-point standard, it needs to be recorded).

Reel, packaging requirements:

1) No special requirements, about 100 yards long, and weighing no more than 150 pounds.

2) There is no special requirement, the roll should be made, and the paper roll should not be damaged during transportation.

3) The diameter of the paper tube is 1.5"-2.0".

4) The exposed part of the two ends of the rolled cloth shall not exceed 1".

5) Before rolling the cloth, fix it on the left, middle and right three places with adhesive tape less than 4" long.

6) After the roll, in order to prevent the cloth roll from loosening, apply 12" tape to fix 4 places.
